Antique 1930’s Hand Built Airplane Pedal Car with Propellor

$3,150.00 $2,499.00

Depression Era Pedal Car

This 1930’s Prop Plane Pedal Car was built by hand and is a unique one-of-a-kind production built by a father for his children in the aftermath of the Great Depression.

With original period tires from a depression era wagon, original patriot paint in red white and blue, with yellow wings and an impressive recreation of a rotary engine with articulated propellor in the front.

In the cockpit of this delightful antique is an awesome flight stick, used for steering instead of a traditional steering wheel. An excellent finishing touch.

Sturdy and well crafted, this has survived the last century stored in the original owner’s estate under dust cover for almost 50 years. Purchased in Clarksville, Indiana in April 2015, minor restorations have been completed and this unique piece is now available for purchase or trade.
